Nomad Debt

Industrial Downtempo / Experimental Soul

The past has weight because the body still depends on it. Keys to burned doors, broken frames, dead names — none can restore what was lost, but letting go feels like losing the last proof that anything existed at all.

So the body carries what no longer serves it. Memory becomes load, identity becomes debt, and survival becomes the slow work of dragging both forward. The burden is useless. That does not make it easier to put down.

Lyrics

Brass key in the pocket for a door that burned down

Photo frame, cracked glass, carrying the ghost of a dead town

Shoulder burn, rope bite, dragging the past into the night

Why is it so heavy?

It's just a memory

Why is it so heavy?

It's just a ghost

The things we save are the things that kill us the most

Numb my feet, step by step

Dragging the corpse of who I was

Numb my feet, step by step

Paying for the miles with blood and dust

I can't put it down

I won't put it down

Velvet chair in the sand

Useless gold in the hand

Broken clock, heavy stone

Building a house of skin and bone

Muscle failure, twisted spine

Everything here is mine

The weight, the weight, the weight, the weight

The weight, the weight, the weight

Keep walking

Numb my feet, step by step

Dragging the corpse of who I was

Numb my feet, step by step

Paying for the miles with blood and dust

If I drop it, I disappear

If I lose it, I am nothing here

I am just the carrier, I am just the mule

Stubborn, broken, fool

Just a stubborn, broken...

Just a stubborn, broken...

Just a stubborn, broken...
